LindsayKeller is set to continue thriving in the next decade with Sannie Ncube and Lize-Marie Weideman leading the firm.
Today, senior partner Danie Weideman announced that Sannie will assume the role of senior partner and Lize-Marie Weideman will take over the role of managing partner. Sannie previously held the position of managing partner after qualifying as an attorney in 2007 and building a successful legal career with LindsayKeller. Lize-Marie has been a partner of the firm since 2007.
“The changes in our firm’s leadership team reflect the fact that the firm’s strength lies in its diversity of people. We have also achieved a good gender balance,” says Danie. “I look forward to seeing LindsayKeller go from strength to strength under the competent and dynamic leadership of Sannie and Lize-Marie in the next decade.”
In terms of management changes, Danie remains a key partner of LindsayKeller. He will take responsibility for new instructions from clients, prepare cases for litigation, and train and develop new attorneys at the firm. Sannie will take charge of the firm’s court roll and Lize-Marie will rejoin the short-term insurance practice to head this department with partner Victor de Bruyn.
“I am proud to be the senior partner of a firm that has helped to shape the law in South Africa,” says Sannie. “My appointment is the culmination of many years of hard work and dedication to both the legal profession and the firm.”
“I am also grateful to LindsayKeller for supporting my professional development. I am looking forward to building on LindsayKeller’s good foundations with solution-orientated thinking and a client-centric approach.”
