Sannie Ncube is the senior partner of LindsayKeller. She rose to this leadership position in the firm in March 2020 after serving as managing partner since 2017.

Sannie first qualified as an attorney with LindsayKeller in 2007. She went on to diligently serve the firm in various roles, including as professional assistant and partner. She has set herself apart through her professionalism and dedication to the legal profession and the firm.

Sannie is as a leading expert in injury claims. She also specialises in conveyancing, notarial work, and drafting and interpreting contracts. Sannie has built an excellent track record in handling medical negligence matters.

Sannie is proud of LindsayKeller’s remarkable history and achievements. She continues to build the firm’s legacy for future generations through her inspiring leadership.

Lize-Marie Weideman is the managing partner of LindsayKeller. She leads the short-term insurance practice with partner Victor de Bruyn.

Lize-Marie has distinguished herself as an excellent attorney over the 19 years of her legal career. She joined the firm in 2000, having gained experience as a claims assistant for the Road Accident Fund, a claims technician in the short-term insurance industry and a corporate claims broker at an international brokerage.

She differentiated herself in the short-term insurance and personal injury fields by writing authoritative legal opinions and achieving success in landmark cases. Her contributions to the legal field is evident from her involvement in reported cases.

Lize-Marie joined the ranks of the firm’s partners in 2007. She has since contributed to LindsayKeller’s success through her strategic work for court hearings and by leading quality management. She has equipped our young attorneys to build rewarding legal careers and given strategic support to our marketing efforts.

Lize-Marie continues to inspire our legal team with her insight and equitable leadership.


B.Com, LLB (University of Johannesburg), Diploma: Labour Law, CD/ACDS accredited Mediator

Danie Weideman is a long-serving partner of LindsayKeller. He is a distinguished expert in the field of personal injury and liability claims.

Danie has contributed to shaping the law in this field through his involvement in numerous reported Constitutional Court, Supreme Court of Appeal and High Court cases. He consults to other legal practices on complex local and international claims and has lectured on the subject to the Road Accident Fund, insurance companies and medical aids.

Danie excelled from the start of his legal career. He joined LindsayKeller as a clerk in 1987 and achieved the second highest score in the attorney admission examinations in the former Transvaal in 1989. He was admitted as an attorney in 1990 and only one year later, on 1 March 1991, he became the youngest equity partner in the firm’s history.

In 1993, he became head of LindsayKeller’s insurance department. He went on to become managing partner of the firm in 1996 and served in this role for ten years. He was elected as senior partner in 2008 and successfully led the firm until 2020.

Danie continues to play a key role at LindsayKeller, focusing on new instructions from clients, preparing legal cases for court and managing the training and development of young attorneys.

He is active in his community in a number of ways, including serving as chairman of the council of his local church.


B.Proc (University of Johannesburg)

Victor de Bruyn heads up LindsayKeller’s general insurance law department.

He is a veteran litigator and leading insurance specialist with expertise in a wide range of matters, including personal injury, product liability, construction and material damage claims, fire insurance, professional indemnity insurance and policy cover.

Victor holds a B.Proc degree from the University of Johannesburg. He started his legal career with a Johannesburg firm of attorneys in 1987. He went on to work on insurance matters with a prominent legal firm before joining LindsayKeller in 1993 to lead its insurance team. He became a partner of LindsayKeller in 1994.

Victor has acted for numerous insurers in defended and recovery matters, including Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, Emerald Risk Transfer, Old Mutual Insure, Mutual and Federal Risk Financing and GENRIC Insurance. He continues to set legal precedent through his involvement in reported cases.

Victor also provides alternative dispute resolution services. He has Right of Appearance in the High Court of South Africa.

LLB (University of Witwatersrand)

Sylvia Maila concentrates on general civil litigation in the High Courts and Magistrate’s Courts and specialises in personal injury claims.

She joined LindsayKeller in January 2014 as she wanted to be part of a leading civil litigation team and went on to successfully complete her articles at the firm in January 2016.

During her tenure at LindsayKeller, Sylvia has learnt how to meticulously prepare for trial and litigation. She has also earned the right of appearance in the High Court and developed her skills in legal research and writing articles.

Sylvia grew up in Pretoria East and is proficient in English and Tsepedi.


LLB (University of Johannesburg)

Katlego Kenosi joined LindsayKeller as a candidate attorney in January 2014 and qualified as an attorney in April 2016. She predominantly handles personal injury claims.

Katlego enjoys working at LindsayKeller as the firm has given her the opportunity to handle matters from inception to finalisation. She has honed her skills in legal research, drafting and litigation and has worked on divorce, estate and commercial matters.

Katlego is expanding her knowledge of various fields of law, including medical negligence and notary and conveyancing matters. She is looking forward to studying corporate law and contractual drafting in future.

Katlego grew up in Pretoria and is proficient in English, Setswana and Sepedi.


BA in political science and legal theory (Rhodes University), LLB (Rhodes University)

Nobuhle Sibiya is a candidate attorney in LindsayKeller’s insurance department. She joined the firm in March 2019 after graduating from Rhodes University.

Nobuhle wanted to do her articles at LindsayKeller to develop the skills to become a specialist in her field. She believes she can grow into a competent litigator at LindsayKeller. Her goals include honing her skills in international trade law and contract law.

Nobuhle grew up in Johannesburg. She was inspired to pursue a legal career to bridge the gap in the communities where she grew up between lack of knowledge of the law and the legal mechanisms in place to secure justice for everyone.

Nobuhle is proficient in English, IsiZulu and SeTswana.


LLB (University of Venda)

Khlirendwe Ramalata is an attorney in LindsayKeller’s personal injury department. After qualifying as an attorney in May 2019, she joined our firm in February 2020 as she wanted to become part of our leading litigation team.

Khlirendwe graduated from the University of Venda with a Bachelor of Laws in 2017. She completed her articles at law firms in Johannesburg and Germiston where she developed her skills in legal research, litigation, the administration of estates and trusts, and other legal functions.

During her studies, she gained practical experience at the University of Venda Law Clinic, the University of Venda Moot Court Club and The Black Lawyers Association. Her work at these institutions provided her with a good foundation in trial advocacy and litigation in various areas of law and deepened her passion for the field.

Khlirendwe is currently completing a Master’s degree in Corporate Law at the University of South Africa. She hails from Soweto and speaks Sotho, Venda, Zulu, Afrikaans and English.
